wagons...hooooooooooooooooe!
I wanted to give you an update on the area around where I work. There are at any given time during the year 1 if not 2 different roving packs of "loose" dogs roaming the streets like furry tumbleweeds. At the current time of writing there is one such pack at large that has broken the pack barrier and gone super sonic to become a herd. I saw a HERD of dogs going up south Jones this afternoon when i was about to leave to go home. The funny thing is, I think they have a dog that moves them along. I don't mean one that they follow like a boss I mean like a damn "sheep herding, border collie, cow moving herd dog. His goal as far I could figure was to meander them from driveway to driveway back and forth across the street like Jehovas witnesses, running down strays and keeping them in one solid mass. I could almost hear him saying "allright lets keep it tight there, move up there. You! Where do you think your going? get back here , there might be a cliff, we gotta get to the mesa before sundown. You two break it up!...... Alright shows over folks keep it moving , nothing to see here nothing to see, You'll all get a puppy when they come. Hey you I already pee'd over there! "

Theres also about 3 mini auxilliary dogs riding point because they're light and fast and they seem to be looking out for other dog gangs, cats and cars and bark when something does'nt look right so they have time to circle the wagons. We can't seem to figure out where they come from because although it is an industrial area, there is a slummy residential area 2 blocks away. It's not the kind of rural area where people just drop off the poor things. It's like they mobilize all at one time and jump the fence to go who knows where. There is always "A" dog or a pod of dogs or in this case a battalion of dogs on the move here in this area.

The Chisolm Trail has nothing on South Jones street.
