Ahem, anyway, I thought I would tell you how much I like show tunes. I guess these aren't show tunes in the way you might typically define them. I mean like the ones from movies like gladiator ....( must not think of porn version of this movie ) The Last of the Mohicans, Saving Private Ryan, basically anything thats an action movie or odd.

I DON'T mean like Cats or Oklahoma. Those are fine, I don't dislike them.

But for me, when the familiar hook comes on the screen for some movies, it makes a chill go up my testosterone filled spine. I mean, well, I don't like have testosterone in my spine. I have like spinal fluid and stuff in there. You know what I mean though.

I get a shiver every time. I love em. I would love to have my own theme song. Actually, I think I do.

If I had to guess it would probably be the theme to Laurel and Hardy.

Or Pop goes the weasel.

And when I'm in a hurry, like when someone calls from down the street and they're gonna 'pop' by, I hear the theme to the Benny Hill Show as I throw my entire apartment, under the bed, in the closet, in the oven. Where ever it'll fit out of sight.

Scores written by Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Angelo Badalamenti, are what I look for. Gimme an orchestral theme over "I'm walkin' on sunshine" for the goddamn three thousandth time any day. There's something about a full orchestra that fills me. I don't care what you say.

Sure I love all my Punk, my industrial, my ska.

Cinematography and acting are only half of it. The theme is the other half and is in my opinion, what makes a movie a piece of shit or a fucking kick ass masterpiece.

Gimme Holst, gimme ....... all the other guys. I can't remember the names of anything. I don't know the names of the songs I like.

I want the strings in a horror movie.

I want the brass and percussion in action movies.

I want the violins in Schindler's List

That stuff makes me happy.

And I want my own theme song damnit. And not the theme song to the Three stooges ... I'm sick of that one.

A few movies are piquing my interest that are coming out soon.

Vin diesel in The Chronicles of Riddek. This may not be a great movie, but It looks like H.R. Geiger did the set design. So it's gotta be some good.

Troy, I liked Gladiator so this might be good too.

Van Helsing. I just like Dracula and Frankensteins monster. I hope they don't call the monster Frankenstein.
