Chris and I went to eat china food today and on the way out to pay, the girl behind the cashiers desk said:
" Hello "
I said
" Hello how are you today? "
she said
" Good. FEE FEE FI? "
me: " Beg pardon?"
her: " fee fee fi? "
me: "............"
Chris: " Everything was fine, thanks. "
How he understood that " FEE FEE FI? " meant " Was everything fine? " is way beyond me.
I must be going deaf.
