Is it wrong that this entry made total sense to me, and I heard the word in my head the moment I read it?
Well, piss on you then, 'coz I'm NOT CRAZY.
*twitches*
NOT. CRAZY.

Did any of the elders in your life use the word "hoddamoddy"? They're really saying "God almighty" but it has degenerated down to hoddamoddy. A term used for when one sees a tornado approaching, or experiences great frustration.AndI suppose you've never been called Newt, either, have you?

i don't know. i understood it too. my mom would say 'hey' through clenched teeth. we called it the voice of doom. my ex husbands gramma had real bad arthritis and if you made her mad enough that she had to pull out her crooked finger and shake it at you, you were in deep doo-doo. the funny part was everyone in his family, when they were mad at you would 'point the crooked finger' by just pointing a knuckle at you. once i heard my ex say to his five year old, 'boy, don't you point that crooked finger at me!' see, now you have no idea what i'm talking about. we're even.

funny how i understood it all too... haha. my grandfather is a big fat greek guy. he's got some fucking kick ass muscles. if you're male, his way of punishing you would be to put his hand to your head and scream in his genuine greek accent: "WALK BOY!" but what he's best known for these days (since he's had several strokes), is when someone goes near his piano. he'd been playing piano since he was five years old, can't play it now. if someone goes near it they get a sharp "WHAT GOES ON THERE?!". the look on young kids faces when they hear that is priceless. now that i've just rambled a whole pile of random shit, im outty. BAI!

You're either not giving yourself enough credit for your sanity, or too much credit for your INsanity. I think it's a fantastic idea, and shall begin a campaign to "EEEEH!" at every bee that even contemplates the hominess of my bonnett

I always thought that governments should buy up a ton of that yellow highway paint and just paint out how things are supposed to be. Paint a solid line along your borders that you don't want crossed and paint a dotted line along those borders that are open. Solid doubled yellow lines around prisoners. A big yellow arrow painted in front of an approaching enemy army to direct them the other way. Good idea, yes?

makes sense to me. my mom's voice is so loud & deep that when she just talks normally it gives me a headache. when she yells it's sounds something like "HOLHOLHOL!" i think this is suppose to be a variation of "hold up!" kind of hard to explain in words...you'd have to come over and try to steal some food from her secret stash to know what i'm talking about.

I KNOW that noise, I MAKE that noise. My kids will happily bargain two or three more seconds of naughtiness when they hear "What are you DOING??" But they hear "EEEEEEH!" and they freeze, like in that stop the music game. But usually whatever prompts me to make that noise is so bad that freezing them by then is pointless ....
